On a clear Sunday afternoon at Dodger Stadium, in ten innings, the Los Angeles Dodgers lost to the New York Mets 5-to-4. The Dodgers ended a 2-win-and-5-loss homestand, an aberration for the Dodgers. They finished a grueling stretch of thirty games in thirty-one days.

Julio UrĂas rebounded from a poor start against the Pittsburgh Pirates by hurling 5.1 innings when he allowed only a solo home run by Starling Marte. He pitched well. He could use all his pitches to retire the Mets. He could change speeds effectively.

Something is wrong with Brusdar Graterol. Over the last two days, Graterol allowed six earned runs.

In the first inning, after Freddie Freeman doubled, Trea Turner socked his sixth home run. To lead off the ninth inning, Will Smith blasted his sixth home run of the year. With two outs in the ninth inning, Chris Taylor doubled, and Eddy Alvarez singled in Taylor.
