Under the lights at Camelback Ranch, the Los Angeles Dodgers beat the Oakland Athletics 6-to-4.

Earlier in the day, the Dodgers sent Zach McKinstry and Andy Burns to their minor league camp. Dealing with arm soreness, Phil Bickford isn’t likely to be ready for Opening Day.

After his first impressive spring training start, Tony Gonsolin struggled with his control, limiting him to 2.1 innings when he allowed four runs. Tyler Anderson, a lefthander, continued to impress when he pitched four scoreless innings.

For the first five innings of the game, the Dodger offense did nothing. In the sixth, Edwin Ríos blasted a two-run homer, and then, in the seventh inning, a Minor Leaguer Drew Avans blasted a grand slam. Cody Bellinger continued to strikeout.
