Sunday, Walker Buehler pitched three innings but allowed four runs in the Los Angeles Dodgers’ 4-to-3 loss to the Texas Rangers.

After having a magnificent first outing of spring training, Buehler struggled with his control. His control problems allowed the Rangers two first-inning home runs. He even got too much of the plate, allowing the weak-hitting Rangers to have two doubles. Hopefully, he will be better next time he takes the mound.

Kenley Jansen was not as sharp as he was in his first outing of the spring, but he was good enough After throwing thirteen consecutive strikes, he threw a ball. Still, he pitched a scoreless fourth inning.

Victor González is having a different spring training from the past. After his success in the abbreviated 2020 season, including the postseason, he is almost guaranteed an Opening Day roster spot. This spring he has phenomenal performances.

DJ Peters homered again. He has impressed this spring, and with Cody Bellinger, recovering from shoulder surgery, Peters will have a more opportunities to play this spring than in the past. Defensively, he has been impressive with his range in center field.
