On a warm Friday night at Oracle Park in San Francisco, the Los Angeles Dodgers lost to the San Francisco Giants 7-to-2.

When manager Dave Roberts pulled Walker Buehler after four innings and threw seventy pitches, many Dodger fans criticized Roberts. Later in the game, it revealed Buehler was experiencing elbow discomfort. A couple of days after the Dodgers drafted Buehler out of Vanderbilt University, Buehler underwent Tommy John surgery. After being overworked during the 2021 season, Buehler probably would have an arm injury. Hopefully, his elbow discomfort is not that serious.

Since the Dodger bullpen is overworked, it was ineffective. Both Joc Pederson and Darin Ruf had a big offensive night. Justin Bruihl’s error opened the flood gates for the Giants.

The Dodger offense did not produce as it can. Chris Taylor had an RBI double, and Gavin Lux hammered his first home run since April 13th.
