With a 6-to-3 victory over the San Francisco Giants, the Los Angeles Dodgers extended their winning streak to six games.

Walker Buehler pitched marvelously for seven innings allowing a run. He used all his pitches effectively to get five strikeouts and one walk.

Both Max Muncy and Austin Barnes, who had a squeeze bunt, hit solo home runs. Matt Beaty, DJ Peters, and Albert Pujols drove in runs.

Although left-handed rookie Alex Vesia allowed a two-run homer to Buster Posey, he finished the eighth inning cleanly. Kenley Jansen pitched a perfect ninth to get his eleventh save in the 2021 season.
