On a beautiful Wednesday evening in southside Chicago, the Los Angeles Dodgers snapped their three-game losing streak with their 4-to-1 victory over the White Sox.

From earning the fifth spot in the Dodger starting rotation this spring, Tony Gonsolin has been the ace of the rotation. On Wednesday, his splinter was not working as well as normal. This did not faze Gonsolin, and he relied on his fastball more than normal. In his six innings, he allowed only one solo home run while striking out five, a hit batter, and walking none. Entering spring training, no Dodger knew if Gonsolin would earn a spot in the rotation, and now he is tied with teammate Tyler Anderson for the National League in wins with seven. He has the lowest ERA in the National League.

Yency Almonte, Brusdar Graterol, and Daniel Hudson were brilliant.

The Dodgers used three home runs by Will Smith, Cody Bellinger, and Trea Turner.
