Sunday., the National League chose Freddie Freeman to be an All-Star. Freeman should have been an All-Star when the original National League All-Star team was announced.

As a Dodger, Freeman has played amazingly and has contributed greatly to the Dodger 60-win-30-loss record, which is the best record in the National League. Although Freeman regrets how the negotiations with the Atlanta Braves went, he has been a perfect Dodger.

Freeman has been a potent offensive force in the Dodger lineup. He has a .321 batting average with 13 home runs and 59 RBI. However, since the National League All-Star team was announced, Freeman has had 16 hits in 24 at-bats, including 3 home runs. Defensively, he has been fantastic.
