On a rainy night at Camelback Ranch, the Los Angeles Dodgers and the Seattle Mariners knotted at four.

Before today, Trevor Bauer pitched like a Cy Young winner, but Thursday, he did not pitch well. Throughout his Major-League career, Bauer has had control problems. For the first two innings Thursday, he had control issues, walking three but did settle down in the third and fourth inning.

After the game, Bauer confessed he experienced trouble focusing, and his head swimming a little.

Tony Gonsolin is having terrific spring training. After the shortened 2020 season, he remained in Los Angeles to work with the Dodger conditioning staff. He has not allowed a run during spring training. Thursday, despite the constant rain, Gonsolin dominated the Marines with a tremendous split-finger fastball and changeup. His control has been outstanding this spring, and if he can continue this, he will have a fantastic 2021 season.

Corey Seager continued having terrific spring training. He again homered to the opposite field on a slider.
