On a picturesque Tuesday evening at Dodger Stadium, the Washington Nationals snapped the Los Angeles Dodgers’ 8-game winning streak when they beat the Dodgers 4-to-1.

No matter how good a baseball team is, they will lose. The Dodgers did not play well. Tony Gonsolin elevated his splitter to retire the Nationals, and the Nationals took advantage of it. Gonsolin had a 4-run fifth in his first loss of the 2022 season.

David Price, Reyes Moronta, and Caleb Ferguson performed well.

The Dodgers left nine runners on base. They could not capitalize upon their scoring opportunities. Trayce Thompson blasted his third home run good for the only Dodger run.
