After a heartbreaking extra-inning loss, the Los Angeles Dodgers inched out the Milwaukee Brewers 2-to-1.

Tony Gonsolin was magnificent for seven innings. While his splitter was not working early in the game, he used his fastball and curveball to baffle the Brewers. He had superb control, and Gonsolin had eight strikeouts and no walks in seven innings. He became the first fifteen-win starter in the National League.

For the first time during the 2022 season, Caleb Ferguson, returning from his second Tommy John surgery, allowed a run.

Playing for the first time in twelve games, Austin Barnes homered, and Max Muncy blasted his fifteenth home run.

As a Dodger, Craig Kimbrel has struggled, but Wednesday, he saved the first one-run victory this season.
