On a beautiful Sunday night in Anaheim, the Los Angeles Dodgers lost to the Anaheim Angels 6-to-5.

David Price was scheduled to start tonight, but he and AJ Pollock did not feel well. While they might only have a temporary sickness, the Dodgers missed them tonight.

For the first three innings, Tony Gonsolin pitched well with traffic, but in the fourth inning, he fell apart. At no time during the game, he had good control. It was bad for Gonsolin who had performed exceptionally well during spring training when he was competing for the fifth spot in the starting rotation. Before tonight, he was the frontrunner for the highly desirable job on the Dodgers.

Unlike last year, Gavin Lux has done everything that the Dodgers could have ever wanted. He has earned the regular second baseman job. He has had a high batting average during the spring, but tonight he hit his first home run of the spring.

Tonight, Corey Seager continued his fantastic spring by hitting another solo home run. After he is healthy, he has been on fire. He won both the NLCS and World Series MVP, and this spring he has performed as well as he did in the postseason.

Max Muncy has struggled this spring, and he had a poor 2020 season after breaking his finger during summer camp. While he did not make any excuses for his poor performances, his finger sapped his power. Tonight, Muncy hit two home runs.
