On a hot and humid Saturday night at Suntrust Park, the Los Angeles Dodgers lost to the Atlanta Braves 6-to-4.
Again, Clayton Kershaw had a subpar six-inning performance. Since May 4th, Kershaw’s ERA is over five. His pitch selection is too predictable. Saturday, for the first time during his Major-League career, he allowed five runs in one inning. In the third, he allowed five runs. After he came out of the game, he looked exhausted.
While the Dodgers scored four runs, the sloppy defense by the Braves gave them runs. The Dodgers continued taking good at-bats, making the opposing pitchers work. They never got the big hit with runners on base.
Blake Treinen gave up a solo home run and wiggled out of a jam in the eighth inning.
