On a beautiful Tuesday evening at Dodger Stadium, the Los Angeles Dodgers hit three home runs in their 9-to-1 victory over the Arizona Diamondbacks.
Before the game, the Dodgers put reliever Garrett Cleavinger with shoulder inflammation on the IL and promoted Alex Vesia, who pitched a perfect ninth inning.
Tuesday Chris Taylor returned to the lineup after missing two games with a sore wrist, and he hit a two-run homer while playing excellent third base.
Mookie Betts led off the game with his fifth homer. To cap off a five-run seventh inning, Gavin Lux hit his first grand slam. Yoshi Tsutsugo made his Dodger debut and received two walks. Albert Pujols played first base again but exited early after being hit on the elbow.
For 6 2/3 innings, Julio Urìas dominated the Diamondbacks When he allowed only one run on three hits while striking out eight. David Price looked fantastic in his first appearance since coming off the IL Monday.
