On an extremely hot Saturday night in Anaheim, in ten innings, the Los Angeles Dodgers defeated the Angels 6-to-5.

Walker Buehler has not had a good start, including Saturday. He did not have good command, which affected him Saturday’s game. Although he had the umpire steal some possible strikes, Buehler did not pitch well, but he changed speeds well. Over his 4.2 innings, he allowed four runs despite striking out seven.

Since the 2020 season’s first series against the San Francisco Giants, Max Muncy has slumped, but he came out of it Saturday. He singled in three runs, and he drove in a run with a sacrifice fly after Chris Taylor’s stolen base.

Although Cody Bellinger did not have an RBI, he had two singles and a stolen base to help the Dodgers.

Mookie Betts drove in three runs with a single and his team-leading eighth home run.

The bullpen continued to pitch well even though it allowed a run.
