On a picturesque Sunday afternoon at Dodger Stadium, the New York Mets snapped the Los Angeles Dodgers’ winning streak at nine when they beat them 7-to-2. Since the San Francisco Giants won, the Dodgers slipped to 2½ out of the National League Western Division lead.
David Price did not have HIS best stuff, so he only lasted four innings. While the Dodger bullpen had been super in August, Phil Bickford and Shane Greene struggled.
The Dodgers did not do anything against the Mets’ pitching. Thanks to Cody Bellinger’s two-run single, the Dodgers were not shut out.
