The Brew Crew Are No Problem for the Blue Crew

On a picturesque Wednesday evening at Dodger Stadium, the Los Angeles Dodgers blasted the Milwaukee Brewers 12-to-6. The Dodgers won the seasonal series against the Brewers.

For the first time since he returned from the IL with left shoulder inflammation, Andrew Heaney pitched six innings. He rebounded from two previous poor outings against the Kansas City Royals and the Brewers to strike out ten. He had command of all his pitches. When healthy, Heaney has performed better than expected, and he looks ready for the postseason.

Caleb Ferguson had his first rocky outing since returning from his Tommy John surgery where he allowed 2 runs in 0.2 innings. Brusdar Graterol was dominating for 1.1 innings. Although Hanser Alberto allowed a 2-run homer, he saved the Dodger bullpen by pitching the ninth.

The Dodger offense exploded. Everyone but Mookie Betts had hit. Cody Bellinger had two hits, including a double, Austin Barnes. Unlike in Milwaukee when the Dodgers struggled offensively, after the first game against the Brewers when they were shut out, the Dodger offense took care of business.
