On another beautiful Tuesday evening at PNC Park, the Los Angeles Dodgers tied a franchise record with eight doubles to blast the Pittsburgh Pirates 11-to-1.

For the first time this season, the Dodger offense operated in all areas of their game. Coming into the game, Justin Turner was 4-for-40, but Tuesday, he had three doubles and a single. For the second consecutive game, Edwin Ríos homered, and manager Dave Roberts must figure out how to get Ríos in the lineup regularly. Although Mookie Betts did not extend his hitting streak, he has been performing at the highest level.

Thanks to an awesome throw from right field by Betts, Tony Gonsolin hurled five scoreless innings. Since he struggled with his control, he was constantly in trouble. This season Gonsolin has learned how to escape jams without allowing a run. When he learns how to locate his pitches within the strike zone, he will be a miraculous starter.

Although Reyes Moronta allowed a run thanks to two errors in the eighth inning, the Dodgers received great relief pitching from Brusdar Graterol, Alex Vesia, and Phil Bickford.
