The Los Angeles Dodgers used their bullpen and offensive outburst to beat the Houston Astros 8-to-1.
From the first inning, the Dodger relievers dominated the Astros. Brusdar Graterol started the game by striking out the side. Dylan Floro was the only reliever who allowed a run. A day after Kenley Jansen had a terrible outing, he retired all three batters he faced.
AJ Pollock hit a solo home run in the first inning. Kiké Hernández had a 2-RBI single. Mookie Betts blasted a 2-run homer, tying him for the league’s leader in home runs. Chris Taylor had a three-run homer.
