On a beautiful Thursday evening at Dodger Stadium, the Los Angeles Dodgers fell to the Philadelphia Phillies 9-to-7.

Neither Tyler Anderson nor Daniel Hudson had their stuff working, and manager Dave Roberts was reluctant to use his bullpen when the Dodgers are going to play eight games out of seven days. While the Dodgers showed an incredible spirit when they came back from a 7-to-1 deficit, they could not score any runs in the ninth even though they loaded the bases. Cody Bellinger homered. When the Dodgers showed a spirit to launch a comeback, it was the first time this season. All championship teams do not know how to quit. These Dodgers must develop a killer instinct if they will become world champions.
