The Los Angeles Dodgers continued their dominance of the San Diego Padres as they defeated Yu Darvish 7-to-2.

The Dodgers punished Darvish in the first inning when Freddie Freeman, Will Smith, and Justin Turner homered. In the second, Gavin Lux, who singled, scored on Trea Turner’s single, and in the third, Jake Lamb doubled in Justin Turner. In the seventh, both Max Muncy and Justin Turner had sacrifice flies.

Rebounding from a poor start in Colorado, Tyler Anderson used his changeup to fool the Padres for 6.1 innings to earn his ninth win of the season.

Brusdar Graterol, Reyes Moronta, and Alex Vesia pitched satisfactorily even though the Padres scored two runs.
