In front of a sell-out crowd at Petco Park, the San Diego Padres pounded the Los Angeles Dodgers 6-to-2.

Before the game, manager Dave Roberts said that Max Muncy will activate Tuesday. If everything goes according to plan, the Dodgers will activate Cody Bellinger Wednesday. Having these players return to the lineup will give the offense a much-needed boost.

Behind Yu Darvish, the Padre pitching staff held the Dodgers to three hits, which were solo home runs by Mookie Betts and Will Smith and a single by Justin Turner. When the Dodgers could not get more three hits, they will not win many games.

Julio Urìas could not locate his fastball, so he allowed six runs in four innings. Phill Bickford, David Price, and Joe Kelly pitched magnificently.
