Urias Was Brilliant

On another picturesque Tuesday night at Dodger Stadium, the Los Angeles Dodgers and the San Francisco Giants renewed their longtime rivalry as the Dodgers defeated the Giants 3-to-1.

Despite pitching only six innings, Julio Urías was brilliant. He changed speeds well to keep the Giants off-balance. He did not allow a run, but he allowed only four hits while striking out four and walking none. If he had normal spring training, he would have been allowed to pitch longer. Urías has had a long history of arm injuries, and the Dodgers do not want Urías to injure himself again. In 2021, he pitched the most in his Major-League career.

While Brusdar Graterol allowed a run, Alex Vesia, Daniel Hudson, and Craig Kimbrel performed well.

Chris Taylor had a two-run single in the second, and in the eighth, Hanser Alberto, who doubled, scored on a wild pitch.
